At the 21st Symposium on Boundary Layers and Turbulence, our PhD student Josipa Milovac was winner of the Commended Student Poster Presentation for her presentation entitled “Sensitivity of the WRF model to boundary layer and land surface parameterizations: comparisons with Differential Absorption Lidar and Eddy Covariance measurements” (Milovac et al. 2014a).
At the 7th International Conference on the Global Water and Energy Cycle in July 2014 (see gewex.org/2014conf/home.html), a Certificate of Achievement was awarded to our PhD student Josipa Milovac for her presentation of turbulence parameterization sensitivity studies (Milovac et al., 2014b).
At the same conference, a Certificate of Achievement was awarded to our PhD student Oliver Branch for his presentation of irrigated coastal plantations and their impact on mesoscale climate in arid regions (Branch et al., 2014).
